Well, duh.

I think I just figured out why people use the Bookmark feature instead of "Marked for Later" on AO3. I used to average around 5-8 pages of to be read fic, and 99% was in one fandom. It was very manageable. Now I have 15 pages and several fandoms. I just came across a fic I had already put in Marked for Later but totally forgot about, and I've realized there is no way to filter by fandom or search for anything. So, I guess I'll be doing bookmarks for them from now on. I will add a 'To Be Read' note and/or tag. It's kind of a bummer that authors often can't really know if someone bookmarked their work to reread because they loved it that much, or to read later.
